Portrait of Las Vegas' most famous murderess, Paula Angel. 

Betrayed by a man who promised her marriage, Angel decided to bring her revenge in the shape of a knife in her rebozo. She embraced him, and stabbed him several times in the back. 

The sheriff took a particular glee in arresting, imprisoning, and hanging Paula Angel - twice. 

MG Salazar lives in the exact area this happened, and painted this portrait as a reminder that Las Vegas women are not to be messed with.
